For ten years, Alexander has lived in a self-imposed exile for the killing of his brother, Edwin. Then one day he receives a mysterious letter that claims to be from Edwin and contains his handwriting. Determined to learn the truth, Alexander takes a journey and finds a remote, prosperous village.
