Rubin Garfias stars as ex-cholo, Caco Valdez. A heartbroken but tough private detective whose sole purpose in life is to help the less fortunate within the barrios of Los Angeles. Nenna Quiroz costars as ex-chola, Maggie Munoz. A confused but tough L.A.P.D. homicide detective torn between her past, the present and a string of unsolved cholo slayings. When her partner Ricky Vellos played by Robert Arevalo and his views on cholos, echoes that of an entire police department- a department which refuses to investigate. A reluctant Maggie is forced to seek the aid of the only man who can help her, her cop hating ex-boyfriend and first love, Caco Valdez. However, is she really obsessed with finding a barrio serial killer? Or is her heart crying out for him?
