Curb Dogs Volume 2 was released partially as a tribute to Dave Vanderspek who founded the "Curb Dogs", a group of stunt bicyclists and skateboarders that performed in the San Francisco area. He died tragically in 1988. Curb Dogs set the standards that all others compare to. Street contests were considered successful if no one got arrested.
